About the event
Participants will be creating art inspired by foraged natural materilas. Elements that connect us to the land, reminding us of that it is the end of the winter season and the start of the spring emerging.
Using mixed media (paints, graphite, chalk and more) you will do some warm up exercises. There will be time spent playing with individual still life arrangements with the foraged materals, thinking about compositions, layers, textures and colours.
Allowing nature to inform our process in texture, lines and brush movements we will progress to making art on loose raw canvas. This could be hung at home or used to make further creative projects.
Suitable for all levels of experience and ability. The focus will be on enjoyment of process and learning!
All materials provided.
Teas and coffees will be available free. There will be a lunch break- you can bring your own lunch or there…
